My story
I learned mining the hard way
Most people pitching Bitcoin mining have never touched a miner. I owned a whole facility. Here's what that taught me.
-
The meme coin that changed everything
In 2021 I put money into Shiba Inu and turned it into over a million dollars.
-
I went all in on real machines
I took that money, bought physical Bitcoin miners, and built my own mining facility in Rochester, Michigan.
-
The power bill started winning
When Bitcoin's price dropped hard, my electricity costs ate the profits. I shipped the machines to a partner facility in Toluca, Mexico for cheaper power.
-
Then it caught fire
The Toluca facility went up in flames. My machines were destroyed. Worse, a technician working there was badly burned and lost his life. That stays with me.
-
I found a better way in
I wanted to stay in Bitcoin mining without owning machines that can break, burn, or hurt someone. I researched cloud mining, didn't like what I found, and landed on GoMining. I've been mining with them ever since.

The real cost. This is what physical mining can do when something goes wrong. A man was hurt doing his job at that facility, and he didn't make it home.
I share this out of respect, not for shock. It's the reason I'll never run machines again, and the reason I tell people exactly what they're getting into.
Face blurred out of respect for him and his family.
